Welcome to bringbacktheoldcommentboards. Most of you will have guessed that this website is part of the struggle against Piczo's latest major change.
For an unknown reason, Piczo decided that they wanted to change the comment boards. Now you cannot use any HTML whatsoever. That means no effects, no images and no line breaks!
This has made many Piczo users very angry. We want to use HTML in our posts, it's a chance to express ourselves, and for some websites, neccessary to function. I haven't seen a single website that is happy with the change.
Our first plan was to tell Piczo and ask them to change them back. Here is their response:
"In order to improve overall member experiences on Piczo, we have decided to allow only the posting of messages in Comment Boards. We recommend using the Piczo Page Editor tools to add pictures to your Piczo Page to share them with your friends."
This answer is simply not good enough. Now we have to unite together and show Piczo just how many people hate the new comment boards.
But you may ask: how do we protest? well it's mighty simple, all you need to do is at least one of the following:
- add this website to your friends list
- comment in the board
- place the button on your site
- visit other petition sites
- spread the word
Do you know of another petition site?! Please let me know in the comment board so I can add the button to the others at the bottom of the page.
Eventually Piczo will have no choice but to bring back the old comment boards. This has been done before with facebook. So don't say there is no point, because Piczo doesn't want to prevent our happiness, they just want to do what's best for everyone. We just need to tell them what we all want.
I have many thanks to make, to the people who have helped with this website. I wish to thank everyone who has advertised this website on their own, those who have advertised other petition websites. Those who have added this website as a friend, and asked other sites to add me. Those who have signed the comment board expressing how they feel. And finally those who keep talking about how annoying the new comment boards are! The new layout is inspired by HannahHEARTBREAK.
